Lawn fertilization and weed control is essential to create a healthy, green lawn that is the envy of your neighborhood. In order to develop turf that is resistant to disease, insects and weeds, our lawn care experts will incorporate a balance of specially formulated nutrients, slow-release grass fertilizers and weed control production into your seasonal maintenance program. Lawn Weed Control & Fertilization Schedule

Centipede Grasses – 5 treatments per year:

• 3 liquid applications consisting of fertilizer, pre-emergents, & post emergement weed control
• 1 application of slow release fertlizers
• 1 application post-emergent herbicide

Fescue Grasses – 5 treatments per year:

• 3 liquid applications consisting of fertilizer, pre-emergents, & post emergement weed control
• 2 granular applications (1 slow release fertlizers, 1 lime)

Zoysia and Bermuda Grasses – 7 treatments per year:

• 3 liquid applications consisting of fertilizer, pre-emergents, & post emergement weed control
• 4 granular applications (2 of slow release fertlizers, 1 lime)

Your lawn requires at minimum 16 nutrients for normal grass growth and development. The exact amount needed varies by species, cultivars, soil moisture contents and the time of year. Our lawn specialists have the knowledge and experience to determine exactly what nutrients are needed, and at what quantities, to bolster your lawn and keep it beautiful.Our lawn treatments are customized based on the type of grass you have installed on your lawn. Each treatment program consists of a combination of fertilization to help promote healthy growth and weed control to prevent unwanted vegetation.

Tree & Shrub Program

AELMI has the experience you can trust to carefully inspect and manage the health of your landscape trees and shrubs. Through each season of the year, we can monitor and treat insect and disease activity on all plants covered by our program. We also provide precisely formulated fertilization for improved plant growth, bloom potential and general vigor.

• 6 scheduled treatments per year consisting of:
• 4 liquid application: 1 of dormant oil & 3 of insecticide, & fungicide
• 1 granular applications of 100% slow release fertilizer with trace and minor elements
• 1 granular application of lime
